MacOS Screen Capture randomly freezes

Hey guys,

I do pretty long capture sessions of two screens (1-2 hours), and the screen captures just randomly freeze sometimes, showing just a single frame each on both the screen captures. Is this a known behavior/bug? Any workarounds? Happy to share more info or logs, just didn't save logs since there's no crashes.

Apple M3 Max 16'
128GB Memory
Sequoia 15.1.1

I capture myself using Chrome and Cubase 14 mainly. Perhaps the stress/GPU acceleration of Cubase could impact it, though I'm nowhere close maxing out my system doing this. The screens + a 1080p video source are captured on a single 4K canvas in Prores 422.

I don't know if you recently upgraded to MacOS Sequoia but as soon as I did this started happening every 20 or so minutes. I teach all day long, so now I have to either quit OBS and relaunch (better) or go through every screen capture (I use a lot) and go into properties, switch it to capture something else and then switch it back.... a real pain.

Yeah I did! I uninstalled a plugin which helped with part of it (source record) but it still happens occasionally.
