MacOS Screen Capture Issues

Please help! I've tried everything.

It was working on Tuesday just fine. Yesterday I started preparing for a stream and after years with no issues, it would not display my screen. I display either Numbers or a Firefox window depending on the stream. If I'd unlock the source to resize, it didn't even show a window to resize the screen.

I've tried everything. Resetting permissions, removing OBS from permissions, resetting and restarting my computer etc.

I've removed the source and made a new one, I end up with a red square at the top left corner that I can not manually adjust. If I go in and adjust it to fit the screen (it still doesn't show a screen capture, nor does anything show up in preview. Even Display Capture is a blank preview screen.) it does adjust to full screen in terms of the transformation box, but I still am locked out of trying to resize it.

So, after many attempts of resetting permissions etc. I finally completely deleted / wiped OBS and its Hidden Cashes from my system by following these steps:
1. Quit OBS completely (Cmd + Q).
2. Open Finder and go to your Applications folder. Drag OBS to the Trash.
3. Now, click on your desktop to focus on Finder. Click Go in the top menu bar, hold down the Option (⌥) key on your keyboard, and click the Library folder that magically appears in the list.
4. Inside this hidden Library folder, open Application Support and look for a folder named obs-studio.
5. Drag the obs-studio folder to the Trash. (Note: This will reset your scenes and settings, but it is necessary to clear the corruption).
6. Empty your Trash.

I re-installed OBS and I'm still having all of the same issues, no display what so-ever. I've gone into Terminal as well and forced Permissions reset with this command:
bash
open /Applications/OBS.app --args --request-privacy-permissions

I'm completely lost and desperate for help. For what it's worth here is my log file from this session:

Thank you in advance for any advice.

My log files have the same error as yours,
21:04:40.988: User added source 'macOS Screen Capture' (screen_capture) to scene 'Scene'
21:04:48.586: [ mac-screencapture ]: init_screen_stream: Invalid target display ID: 0
21:04:48.586:
21:04:49.120: [ mac-screencapture ]: init_screen_stream: Invalid target display ID: 0
21:04:49.120:
21:04:51.242: [ mac-screencapture ]: init_screen_stream: Failed to start capture with error The stream is nil.

Looks like version 33.0.1 was released on the day you posted, I was able to fix the problem for me by uninstalling OBS and downgrading to version 32.2.2
