I know this is a known issue, but I wanted to record it here. I've already uploaded the log file.
I livestream every Sunday for four hours. During the livestream,, about 2 and 1/2 hours in, the macOS Screen Capture source froze. It staye that way until I finally checked chat and saw the problem being reported. I was not aware of the Restart Capture button, so I removed and re-setup the screen.
I have now implemented the phython script that is supposed to catch this and automatically restart it.
I wanted you to know for documentation purposes. Hopefully my log file will have something useful in it.
I'm running OBS version 32.2.2 on MacOS 26.7.1 Tahoe on a MacBook Pro M1 pro chip, 16 GB of ram.
