Question / Help Macbook Pro, ElGato HD 60, Xbox One, and OBS (I REALLY NEED HELP!!)

My setup is complete. In the elgato software, I can see my screen. In OBS, I see my overlay.


When I go to add a Video Capture Device, it only shows the WebCam on my Macbook Pro. How do I get the device in OBS to be my ElGato HD60?

Are you running under OSX? I believe that Elgato doesn't have Mac-side drivers that work with OBS, only their software.

You Need To download The Elgato Software & Drivers For It to detect that you have a elgato plugged in https://www.elgato.com/en/game-capture-HD-support

You can only use the Elgato with their own program on OSX.

Cant you use a Virtual Machine Or Do a Dual Boot i know that mac supports Dual Booting you can have Mac and Windows on your Computer

No, not really. You might try a Window or Monitor Capture, just capping their software's screen.

Otherwise, Bootcamp over to Windows or write to Elgato, asking them to make proper Mac drivers for their hardware and wait.
