Mac Pro 5.1 Hardware encoding failed

I'm trying to get OBS working with the hardware encoder, I have an RX 570 on Mojave & I see the option for the hardware but I get the Output failed error.

Looking in the Log I can see a few things that have failed, can anyone tell me what I'm missing, I've seen others mentioning using their Mac Pro for OBS with hardware on but I can't find a thread saying how.

Appreciate any help

It looks like acceleration is supported only in 10.15 and later, and that machine can only run 10.14 and lower. You could always toss an NVIDIA card in it and run Linux. You might have better luck that way.
