I'm running a BlackMagic ATEM Mini Pro into an M1 Mini (8GB/256GB), to a FB livestream via Safari, and I'm getting a lot of dropped frames due to rendering lag. Rendering times seem erratic. The rate of dropped frames due to rendering lag can vary from 0 to 5%. Since it seems to slowly increase with time, I thought it might be due to CPU heating issues, but all temps are low (generally in the 30's C) as shown on the TG Pro app. CPU usage is low, typically 5-10% at most. Skipped frames due to encoding lag is consistently 0.
I've tried all kinds of combinations of Video and Output settings (Encoder, Bitrate, CPU Usage Preset, Downscale Filter, FPS, etc.), and nothing seems to affect the erratic rendering times and dropped frame rate, not even slowing the frame rate to 24fps. I'm not running any apps other than OBS, the ATEM controller and Safari (and TG Pro). I'm running out of ideas, any suggestions?
