Lunch error.

Hello everyone, as the title suggests I'm having an issue with launching OBS. i haven't been able to stream in 3-4 months due to working away from home and not having internet, recently i tried to launch OBS just to make sure everything was in order and make a few adjustments to a few scenes to make sure when i get home i can jump right back in.

With that said, when i tried to launch i was greeted with the following error "Failed to create directory C:\\users\"myname"\AppData\Roaming\obs-studio/plugin_config". followed by another error saying "failed to create required user directories". I tried launching it as admin but had the same issue.

I decided to uninstall and reinstall figuring that would fix the issue but unfortunately it did not. when uninstalling i uninstalled just the app files not the settings, scenes, etc. because i really don't want to play with the audio setting again while also remaking all my scenes. If a 100% fresh install is the only option then so be it but id like to try all other options first.

thank you for any and all help in advance!

P.S. Due to my work schedule (14 hrs a day 6 days a week.) i may not be able to respond to all tips very quick OR test the potential solutions but will ASAP. Thank you again!

Looks like the path is wrong, notice the / instead of a \ in it. Remove the plugin.
Some plugins left files on %appdata%\obs-studio\ which keeps interacting with OBS and causes issues. Remove this files.
When you uninstall OBS the folders under %appdata%\obs-studio\ and all the content in it isn't fully deleted. So, backup your profile and scene collection and then uninstall OBS, delete this folder and all it's content.

You need admin rights to delete anything on this folders. If your user don't have admin rights then you need to ask to the person with admin rights to do it.
