I record with OBS (3250 Kbps, 1920x1080, 60FPS, NVENC Encoding, High Quality - Medium File Size) and it usually uses anywhere from 1-3% CPU.
However, I will occasionally get CPU spikes up to 28% (Usually around 13%) that persist until OBS is restarted, sometimes more than once.
The CPU spikes can start to slow down the recordings and are overall a problem.
The issue is still present when I record at 6 FPS for a timelapse.
I'm using OBS 27.2.4 (64 Bit, Windows)
CPU: i7 4790
GPU: GTX 1650 (GDDR6, Single Fan, ASUS)
RAM: 32GB 1600MHz (4x8GB) Unknown Brand
SSD: KingFast 1TB SATA SSD
Motherboard and Power Supply: Whatever is in the Dell OptiPlex 9020
