Question / Help Lowering stream quality 720p+ to 720p?

To put it simple I want to stream in 720p instead of 720p+, because it seems a good amount of my viewers get my stream stuttering time to time.
I've been messing around with OBS settings and nothing seems to remove the little '+' from the quality option.
I've tried lowering the quality of the stream, but still every option has the '+' next to it like 480p+, 720p+, etc.., and I don't know if it's a twitch problem or what. Has anyone experienced this before? I'd really appreciate some help, thank you.

My current OBS settings are the following:
Quality Balance: 10
Max Bitrate: 2100
Buffersize: 2000
1280x720 resolution (720p)
30 FPS
Audio Codec: AAC, Bitrate: 128

My PC Specs:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GhZ (4 cores)
4GB RAM
Nvidia Gefore GT 320 (1GB)
64-Bit Operating System

Hmmmm that little + sign shouldn't make a difference considering your bitrate is only at 2100. Reducing your quality won't change the amount of stuttering they have. The only way you're going to fix their issue is if you lower your Max Bitrate or they need to upgrade their internet speeds themselves.

The + indicates the stream is exactly the same as it was encoded on your computer, the other options come from Twitch's transcodes. Try using CBR.

@vaesauce, I just lowered my bitrate dramatically but the '+' is still there.
@R1CH, used CBR, no difference either.
Thank you very much for the fast responses, tho.

None the less, don't worry about the + sign, it is nothing significant and doesn't mean anything other than the fact that's what you're broadcasting at.

The only way you're going to fix the Stream Stutter is as i stated though, either to lower your Bitrate (Major Quality hit on fast movement scenes) or for your viewers to upgrade on their internet.

CBR or not, if your viewers don't have a decent enough Download speed, they won't be able to buffer fast enough to keep up with your live streaming. CBR is constant so that'll give them a hard time. If it's not CBR, its more spikey when it gets to fast movement scenes which will make them stutter either way.

In this case, it's a lose-lose situation for them. I'd just revert back to your original settings with quality and hope that they upgrade or else you'd have to seriously lower your Bitrate for their needs and be sacrificing a ton of quality :\

R1CH is correct: the "+" sign is just a Twitch shorthand to indicate which quality represets "exactly what is being sent to you from the streamer". If there is no "+", it means it's a stream that is generated from Twitch transcoding it. Note that you can only get transcode options if you are a Twitch partner.

According to this page, the equivalent of Twitch's "720p" option is 1161 kbps CBR.
