First off, I know Windows 10 is not out yet and as that not supported. So if that is the problem for the low FPS I get it and I will wait for Windows 10 to be released.
Now to my problem: When I use OBS on Windows 7 I get 120 FPS in Dota 2 (maxed at 120 by console) and I can stream 720@60 FPS no problem. My CPU load is at about 15% from OBS.
When I switch to Windows 10 my CPU load is at 25% which isn't to big a deal but my ingame FPS drop to about 70 with some drops in between to 40. That does not do it for me sadly.
So is this problem merely happening because it's not yet optimized for Windows 10 and I will just have to wait or is it something else that I am missing?
Will using DxTory to capture my games improve this? (Is it actually still an improvement over OBS Gamecapture on Windows 7? My machine can handle using only OBS without a problem, but it would be nice to know anyway.)
Las but not least, my specs:
CPU: Core i5 4670k @ 4.5 GHz
GPU: AMD R9 280x
RAM: G-Skill Ripjaws @ 24000 MHz
Internet: 25/5
Hope you guys can help me out :)
