New to streaming and new to using OSB and man what a system, love it.
I'm not too technical but I've used some basic templates to help me get setup.
The problem I am having is that as soon as I do a live video feed of myself and attach it to my monitor capture, my game FPS drops massively.
I can stream league of legends at 200 fps with monitor capture, audio and microphone and it works perfect. But as soon as I add my webcam feed to the stream, I drop massive fps down to about 50.
I am using a DSLR as my webcam, attached via USB 2.0 and using Sparkosoft so that my computer recognizes my DSLR as a webcam. It shows up in OBS and looks wicked but unfavorably lags my game massively.
I've tried setting resoulution to 720p instead of the 1080p it can do.
My upload speed is about 2700kbs.
Any ideas?
Should I just buy a webcam, do you think that would help instead of using the DSLR?
