Question / Help Low FPS w/ Game Capture visible, even while not recording

Alright,
So I figure it's about time to get help from the OBS community as I've begun to lose my mind. I've been having this issue with OBS over the last few months, even now after getting a new PC (specs below). Whenever I add a Game Capture source and hook into a game, the FPS in OBS plummets. It drops down to 5-24fps... not usable footage whatsoever. When I say it drops when hooking into a game, that even includes while not recording/streaming. Hitting record/stream doesn't affect the framerate one bit. Temps are fine, utilization is fine, and I have no idea what to do. All I can think of is the modules that fail to load (shown in the log) but I don't know if that's the issue nor do I know how to fix that. Any help is greatly appreciated!

If any further information is needed, let me know! (a recent log is attached)

PC Specs:
Intel Core i7 8700K @4.9Ghz
NVIDIA GTX 1080
AORUS Gaming 5 Mobo
16GB T-Force Night Hawk 3200Mhz RAM
500GB SSD (Local Disk)
1TB SSD Samsung 850 Pro (Game Library)
2TB HDD Seagate 7200RPM (Project Files)
4TB HDD WD Black 7200RPM (Recording Drive)

p.s. Whenever I alt-tab the game out of focus, even if the game is still showing as active in OBS, the FPS jumps back up to 60fps.

turn off multi-adapter compatibility hooking on the properties of the game capture source.
You have absolutely no reason to have it enabled.

Very odd. I never even enabled that... Thanks for pointing it out!

I'll go see if this solves the issue.

Edit: So far this has solved the issue for me.
