Question / Help Low FPS stream, game steady 144fps

I’m hoping I’m putting this in the right area, sorry if not. I’ve been streaming for months with streamlabs obs no issues whatsoever, stream runs just perfect no low frames. The only issues I could maybe think of is either: I got a new 144hz monitor and maybe I don’t have settings set right in the program because it’s still set for the old 60hz hdmi instead of the new display port, both are plugged into the gpu. I was also thinking it could have to do with the new nvidia update enabling g-sync on this new monitor that is normally just a free-sync amd one (vg278q). Or maybe its just an obs update and others are having issues? I know it’s not the computer parts, 1080ti 11gb/16gb ram/i7 8086k. Like I said it ran flawless with everything I threw at it and now all of a sudden I get tops maybe 24fps on the stream while game runs great. I tried clearing the cache in obs, tried messing with the encoder abit from what I could see googling other people’s solutions nothing has seemed to help at all FPS just stays the same no matter what I change. I thought of uninstalling streamlabs obs and trying to redo everything? Just wondering if anyone has any other ideas of what I could do to solve this... thanks in advance
