Question / Help Low FPS on stream

Hi.

I got a problem with low fps on my stream. Whenever i stream League of Legends i get like 5-20 fps on my stream depending on where i stand and if i do anything. I have been able to stream before without many fps issues but that was with my 1680x1050 monitor. Now i have a 1920x1080 monitor, but i scaled my stream down to 1280x720.

Specs:
I5 3570k
GTX 260
8gb 1600 mhz RAM
128GB Samsung 840 SSD and 1TB HD103UJ HDD

So is this problem because of my old GPU, because it can't handle the 1920x1080 monitor, or do i have the wrong settings?

First, you probably want to update your version of OBS, 0.553 is very old (and accidentally had its auto-update feature disabled). Second, your video card is underpowered in general but particularly terrible for streaming, so the best you'll probably be able to do is try downscaling your stream resolution and lower its frame rate to see if you can offset the GPU's poor performance.

Updating to v0.60b seemed to have a huge impact. Got a stable 60 fps now.
