Question / Help Low FPS on Minecraft

I have a YouTube channel, and I would like quality videos.
However, my OBS is skipping frames and doing poorly, apparently the video goes like half the FPS it did actually in-game.
If u can help that would be great! Also it says "Taking too long to encode, skipping frames!" I run OBS with the default settings + Aero disabled while it's on.

I use a Pentium(R) Dual Core CPU E5300 at 2.60GHz and 6GB ram, and about a 600gb hard drive with about 175 gigs free. I also use Windows 7 Home Premium. I'm pretty young actually, so yeah I don't know all that technical crud.
Again, if you can help that would be great m8.

@dodgepong , the problem with one of them is that idk what they mean by 1080p and 720p, when I go to Resolution Downscale it just puts up a bunch of normal things. I run my computer at 1680x1050 usually btw.
That really helped anyway though, thanks!
