Question / Help Low FPS during capture.

I have been streaming games such as League of Legends and World of Warcraft successfully for the past four weeks at a solid 45 fps. However, when testing to see if I could stream Republic Commando, I get 1 fps during the preview. Is there something that I am missing?

Your CPU is very bad, it's very unlikely you can get 60 FPS at that resolution. Downscale your resolution and drop your FPS in OBS, and make sure the game isn't hogging the GPU by enabling vsync or an FPS limiter.

I'm not really looking for 60 fps. I'm looking for decent enough fps to warrant a decent stream. My fps was limited to 30 at the time of the attempt (I believe). I will check those options and see what I can get out of it.

The log above shows two attempts at using 60fps, and then one with 40fps.

With that CPU, I'd say that you should do 25fps, MAYBE 30fps if the resolution is really low. You definitely need to downscale.
