Hello,
I just recently started streaming more seriously but I cannot get around the fact that I lag when I stream. I mostly play Day-Z Standalone and CS GO and I can feel the FPS drop. However, I lag in other games as well. I have messed around with my settings continuously and I have yet to figure out why.
My PC Specs are:
i5 3570k OC to 4.2 ghz
Radeon 7870 2gb
8gb Ram Corsair Vengeance
Windows 7
Upload Speed: 5.65mbps
I will post the link to my OBS log but here are some of my settings:
Game Capture
x264, Quality Balance: 8
CBR: unchecked (I've tried checked as well)
Max Bitrate:3000
Max Buffersize: 3200
Resolution Downscale: 1.50 (720p)
30 FPS
Process Priority Class: High
x264 CPU Preset: veryfast
Here is the OBS Log: https://gist.github.com/1bc98f323debff0bb964
I am just looking for some answers since I am unsure if its hardware related or just settings related. Is my CPU not good enough? I look forward towards some answers. Thank you.
