Question / Help Low (1) fps when OBS lost focus

With most games game capture works and I have no issues using that. However for some games to work I have to use window capture / monitor capture. When using window capture and have OBS selected it runs fine at 30 and 60 fps. However once I click off of OBS either to a window or a game the fps drops to 1. It is the same with preview enable/disabled or streaming/previewing. Any help would be appreciated.

Try turning aero on/off, I've had some issues with aero off, personally. Also posting an OBS log file would be helpful!

Problem has been solved by disabling CFR.

Edit - It worked for about 2 minutes and then started freezing up again.

That GPU is extremely slow for use with OBS, You will need to downscale to ~480p or lower to get a better frame rate.

Alright, thank you. I have "fixed" the issue by using Dxtory and then using the output of Dxtory as a Video Capture Device in OBS. no issues at 720p 60 fps
