Recently, I got a new computer and downloaded OBS, since I use this program as my recording software for videos. As I record to test my microphone, everything seems alright until I watch the video. In the video, a really LOUD static noise occurs when I speak. The issue is not with the microphone itself, as I have tested talking with my friends and it is perfectly fine. A possible reason for this is the fact that when I installed the program, I told it to choose the recommended settings for my computer. This is likely a simple issue in the settings, but I have no idea.
The headset microphone Xbox Controller is designed for Xbox, PC and mobile use. I only use it for PC and it works everywhere.
