Question / Help Lots of FPS lagg when recording minecraft!

So my laptop gets around 60-70 average fps when im in fullscreen and not recording. When I record using obs, I get 15 - 20 fps. How do i make it go back to my average fps? My log is attached. Thanks!

I believe that recording takes alot of fps. It also depends on your settings.

Well what settings should I put? Other people get great fps while recording, soo?

I don't know what settings to put on, try searching for OBS fps tutorials, I was just here to tell you that recording takes fps.

It doesn't help for me for some reason, i know im doing something wrong and I just dont know what. Anyone else?

Sorry I responded late too, got some school stuff going on. Anyway, try:

• turning all animation options off, then turn them back on one at a time.
• setting Particles to minimal.
• enabling Smooth FPS.
• enabling Fast Maths(2+2 is 4, minus one dat's 3 quik mafs).

I get perfectly good in-game fps, and use these settings already, but OBS brings it down to 12. I need help with normal fps with OBS.
