Question / Help Lost Recording - Can i retrieve?

Hey guys,

Today i streamed throughout the whole day and i have the record option set, so my streams get saved in a .mp4 when i stop streaming.

When i went to change my scene/close down OBS it froze and it came up as unresponsive so i closed it instead of maybe waiting.

When i try to open the file the message that comes up is "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file."

I Was wondering is there anyway to get this to work?

Does the site that you stream to save recordings of streams? If so, you might be able to download it from there.

I recommend saving stream recordings as FLV and converting them afterwards: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=6406

If only you could have it set date and time as file name for FLV recordings.
