Lost camera image with upgrade to v26

I have been unsuccessful in trying to upgrade to v26 of OBS. With v25 everything works just fine. After upgrading to v26 I get a black screen no matter what I try to do. There is no video or audio being captured. As soon as I reinstall v25 everything works again. There are no setting changes between these trials - just install and run. Baffled !

I've attached the pertinent log files.
