Lossless Quality, Tremendously Large File Size. Problems Recording

When I record in simple mode, Lossless quality is exactly what I need. High quality, no lag. Storage space is not an issue. However, when I switch over to advanced, I always get encoder overloaded - choppy recording, despite watching many YT videos on various set ups. I don't know much at all about recording so please consider that when replying. Honestly, if I could record in simple mode and still have 2 separate audio tracks (1 mic, 1 game audio) I wouldn't even have to post this -- is this possible??

So, unless someone has a different, more helpful solution, is there some way I could copy exactly what Lossless Quality in simple mode does into advanced mode? How exactly would OBS's preset for lossless carry over into advanced?
This would allow me to have fluid gameplay while still allowing me to edit both game audio and mic audio.

I hope this is not confusing, and please let me know if there is a simpler solution. Again, I don't know much about recording so I could be missing something blatantly obvious.

Not sure if this is necessary for this post, but log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/RiPGFKPI8vBXRFrC

Not sure where you're getting your information from but the llhp Preset is not Lossless. It's Low Latency High Performance.

You'll need to install StreamFX if you want to do NVENC Lossless, which BTW is NOT true Lossless.

Under settings, Output (in simple mode), recording quality, for me there is a preset called "Lossless Quality, Tremendously Large File size." I don't need true lossless, I just want a smooth, high quality recording and that preset works well for me. I am only interested in recording, no streaming. All I'm trying to do is have those recordings with multiple audio tracks.

Install StreamFX (Easy to do) or learn how to use the custom FFMPEG output (hard - you're probably going to need help), they are your options to get what you want.

Had to record to check (Install MediaInfo so you can do this yourself). The Lossless Tremendously Large Size recording is UT Video in an AVI container, AVI doesn't support multi-track audio.

Here's settings for the Custom FFMPEG Output. mkv with UT Video & (2) PCM Audio tracks. Also works A-OK with 24-bit & 32-bit Floating Point PCM audio. Playback verified with VLC.

Thank you very much rockbottom,
I got confused with the charts haha, but I was able to copy the custom output settings and got a clean recording. Thank you so much for your help as I was getting very confused and you were able to clear all this up for me.
One final question, is there a reason why the video bitrate is set to 0? It does not matter to me I'm just wondering.
Thanks!

YW!!

I was just matching what you were recording previously & adding the second audio track. I don't think you want to plug anything in there using UT Video since it is Lossless but I could be wrong, do some research on it.

BTW, you can change the Keyframe Interval to 1 (I forgot to), the recording is all I Frames.

I had some time to test the AVI container some more. Contrary to what I read & told you yesterday, multi-track audio is supported so you can use the AVI container if you want. If/when you switch containers just make sure to double check the Video & Audio Encoder settings as they most likely will change & you will need to change them back (UT Video, PCM Audio) before you save the new settings.

Also, the Video Bit-Rate setting does nothing, the encoder over-rides whatever is typed in the box so you can just leave it @ 0.

Here's MediaInfo for one of the 2 track test AVI's. I verified playback with VLC.
