Lossless encoder for local recording

Lossless encoder would be awesome. X264 as it is uses too much CPU time even on fastest settings.
My favorite encoder have been huffyuv for few years now. It's very light on CPU and compresses enough to be able to save 1080p video at 60fps on a normal hard disk

Huffyuv can't do 1080p60 on complicated scenes on a normal disk, you need RAID-0 or such. I actually started using super high quality x264 (eg crf 10, bframes disabled) instead of lossless just for the space savings, makes editing a lot faster. I'm sure lossless would be easy to add though since the encoder is quite modular.

I didn't explain my need very well earlier.

I'm attempting to save high quality version of my live broadcast. While broadcasting live, the live version itself eats a lot of CPU time and there isn't much left to spare. And even if there was, I'd prefer to keep it in reserve.

CRF=10 is good quality indeed, but costs significant amount of CPU time. For now it's too much.
