I'm looking for a webcam that can easily fit within 2 in of each other pupil the pupil width, can be in the same plane, and can be mounted to a 1/4- 20 tripod hook up with 0 points of articulation on the mounting.
Most people consider webcams with lots of articulation good to get a custom angle. The problem is cuz I'm filming in stereoscope those two eyes need to be rigid relative to each other. I do have the mounting equipment however the only camera that I use before an sq11 I have too many of that the OS will not recognize beyond nine of the same type and I got 10.
I tried Minoru camera, but the frame rate is only 15 frames per second as far as I could tell. That's too choppy for me.
I'll take the two cheapest webcams that could mount on quarter 20 that have literally 0 points of articulation because I have to be locked relative to each other. As a stereoscope filmer, that is important. All the $10 webcams have many points of articulations which could throw off their position relative to each other on a locked grid.
