Hello everyone!

I come here today to ask for future advice on a project I want to work towards. I have been streaming a month or so now @ twitch.tv/kalkaii (THIS IS NOT A PLUG JUST FOR REFERENCE.) I feel I have got most of OBS down for what my set up is currently. However I plan to move to streaming console possibly. With the price of a leading PC build being so high I feel I'd rather opt to go console for the time being. I'm also not here for a Master Race thing I think PC is best, but to be on top of everyone requires a lot of money. Consoles on the other hand we all share the same experience outside of connections. My question to everyone is what sort of PC build would I need to stream at these two settings. 1080p@60FPS and 720p@60FPS.

My ultimate goal being 1080p@60FPS so I mainly want info on that. I will be using the PC I use for Gaming/Streaming now to Stream only the feed from the Console via the Capture Card.

My current PC specs in a nutshell.

  • AMD FX-4100 3.6Ghz Quad Core
  • Radeon HD 7800 1GB 256-bit DDR5
  • 16 gigs DDR3 RAM (Forgot exactly what speed)
  • Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0
  • 1TB SATA HD (Forgot the speed)
  • As for my connection currently I'm 10//2mb. I will however in a week be moving and getting Brighthouse Lightning 90//10.
So my question to all you streaming junkies out there. Will this PC I have be able to do 1080p@60FPS? If not can it more then handle a great quality 720p@60FPS?

What capture card do you guys think is good? Obviously I want one that could do the above. At least 720p@60FPS as I am trying to keep this on the less pricey side. (As if that's possible)

If this PC can do 1080p@60FPS Could/Should I run with slower or such considering it's dedicated?

All help is amazing thank you everyone!

TL:DR Can this PC with cap card stream a console in 1080p@60FPS?
EDIT: I'm not really worried about the some viewers not being able to view it. Obviously my income is not from twitch so I do this as a hobby first.
