Question / Help Looking for CPU that can stream 1080p

Hey guys,
I'm wondering what CPU would be able to handle streaming 1080p @ 60fps, while keeping over 60fps in game. I have a 8350, and when I stream 1080p it DESTROYS it. So I've been handling with 720p. Now that I am gaining popularity they want to see full HD. Please do give detailed feedback.

Thank you for your time,
Papa Beans

1080p@60fps will look bad with the bitrates you can use on twitch. Plus it's more taxing on your viewer's PC.

I'm curious too. I've done a lot of searching but can't seem to find a solid answer on the 5820k or 5960x while performing what you asked above.

For recording you can set the preset to ultrafast and your bitrate to 1000 and your custom buffer to 0 (which means it will use a bitrate high enough to achieve the quality level), this way the quality hit from ultrafast can be mitigated by the bitrate.
Your files will become bigger though.

depends on the game

an every i7 starting with 2nd gen can handle 1080p60 on veryfast preset when playing games like league or dota2

or some other low cpu usage games but thats about it

if you plan streaming 1080p60 with games like csgo or bf4 then your system will probably not be able to keep up and the bitrate you would need to achieve a decent quality is way too high
