Longer I Record More Choppy Framerate Gets

Hi, I recorded a Portal 2 Co-Op with a friend for about 90 minutes. And looking back on (and this also happened when I recorded the game again this time on my own) it seems the longer the recording goes on for it gets more choppy. Any ideas why? Like I recorded a different game a couple or more hours earlier and that worked fine so I don't know what's up.
