Question / Help long text file scrolling. Text disappears

Hi people

I'm sooo frustrated, we have a list of patreons to put on our feed it's about 150 names that when we use wirecast just scrolls from the text file. However when using OBS if I add the text file it adds the first few names and the text box reaches way off screen to the right. However if I then add the text filter for scrolling the text disappears. If I cut the names down by two thirds I can get it to work but that isn't ideal.

I have read some posts about maximum number of characters and there are around 6000 including spaces, is there a mac plugin or something that can solve this problem?

I have noticed that when the text disappears, most of the time changing the font size helps. Make the font smaller and it should reappear. Also, make sure you set your text width through the scrolling filter, then adjust a little manually if needed.

I am also finding myself having this issue, attempting to set a scrolling ticker of names. Unfortunately, there are lengths that no amount of font reduction can help. Does anybody know if this is by design or if it should be reported as a bug?

I have the same issue. Hope it gets fixed. I've seen comments about it that go back years. Hmmmm.... It's hard to complain too loudly when the program is free. If this is a bug is there a formal way to report it?

How do we bring this to the dev team's attention? I'm sure this is a very quick fix. I put my sponsors on the ticker and I can't change the font size because it's how I want it already. But I have had to add qualifications to appear on the ticker and I don't like doing that. I want to put everyone there no matter the amount they give.

Same issue here. 692 characters (counting spaces), it runs. 693+ is where it disappears for me. Tested with horizontal and vertical just to be sure that wasn't the limitation. The issue exists whether the text is pasted in the "Text" field or "Read from file".
