Question / Help Long Play VHS tapes

Hi, I'm using a USB capture device and OBS to copy some old family VHS tapes. Everything set up and working perfectly to capture old tapes recorded using the SP (short play) format but when I try the same procedures for an LP (long play) tape the video loses colour. Audio is still fine but the video is, rather frustratingly, black & white!!

Does anyone have any ideas if this can be sorted out by changing any of the video Settings ??

This is most likely an issue with the capture device, and will not be something that OBS can correct. Does it work properly in the software provided with the USB capture device? You may be able to reach out to the manufacturer about the problem; they might have a firmware or driver update to fix the problem.
