Bug Report LoL Streaming Ping Issues

Hello there, I'm having an issue with my Ping during streaming and I'm in need of aid :D

My upload speed is 1.9 (roughly) and I'm streaming at Quality: 10, Bitrate: 1600

However I've realised when I enter a LoL game, my ping rises and stays risen, but when I stop the stream the ping drops down to a regular 30-40, is this because my bitrate is to high or what?

did you tried a lower bitrate? if nope -> go for it and your question might be answered.

And check your upstream with http://testmy.net/upload -> Select test size -> 33mb. It's way more accurate than speedtest.net or other tests.

I've heard CBR can help for ping as well. I don't usually recommend it, but if it helps, please let me know

Try to lover your in-game resolution. When i run at 1680*1050 I got several lag spikes like 80 to 150 ecc...I tried at 1280*800 and the ping went barely over 100ms. I don't get the correlation but it worked even if i get more choppiness tbh :D

I had ping issues with League too. Try opening all the necessary ports and adding OBS and League as exceptions to your firewall (windows firewall in my case).

This is really unnecessary, neither LoL nor OBS accept incoming connections.

Well then I don't know. My ping is still unstable too, at far below my upload speed.

i have 1mbps upload, i can stream at 750kbps without lag in lol, but i do get lagspikes if i have anything else in the background like steam or skype
