Question / Help Logitech C920 Won't Capture

For some reason every time I try to set my video device to my Logitech webcam, it won't actually capture video - and if it does, it runs at nearly 1 fps. I've tried changing from the Logitech driver to the generic windows 10 driver, that causes the webcam to go crazy (lots of artifacting and crazy spasms). I have a feeling its because I have to use MJPEG with that driver which to my knowledge is not supported by windows 10. I've changed the res all the way down as low it would go and still have the same problems. Also tried a registry fix as seen in this link: http://wccftech.com/fix-windows-10-webcam-issue-anniversary-update/ . Even tried purcahsing a cheap new webcam and still have the same issue. Not really sure what to do from here. Just want people to see my face when I stream! Attached is the log.

1. Guide for getting the most out of your webcam - http://obsproject.com/forum/threads/getting-the-most-out-of-your-webcam.1036/

2. If your webcam is not displaying video in OBS, try setting the resolution and FPS to something known that the camera supports. Go to the Video Capture Device properties, change Resolution/FPS Type from Device Default to Custom, and then set the options accordingly (which looks like you've done, but just to make sure I'm putting this in here).

3. (Not having to do with your webcam, but just important in general) The Windows 10 CU added a new Game Mode option which causes issues more often than it helps. It is recommended to disable it when using OBS. See here for how to disable: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-enable-disable-game-mode-windows-10-creators-update

Thanks for the help! The biggest increase in performance came from changing the encoder from the first link you posted. Still gonna fool around with some more settings but atleast the thing works now :)
