Question / Help Logitech BRIO Exposure Problems (W10)

I just got a Logitech BRIO as an upgrade from my old C920, but I'm finding the "upgrade" very... underwhelming.

There's no way to remove RightLight anymore, no way to have full manual control, and if I uncheck all the automatic options my framerate drops to a crawl (even at 720p, in a well lit room). The exposure changes CONSTANTLY (and this is especially prominent at 60 FPS), just from raising my hand or changing where my hair rests. Sometimes it happens while I'm sitting completely still, too.

Is this a hardware problem? A compatibility issue with OBS? Something to do with the drivers? If anyone has experienced something similar or knows how to solve it, I'd appreciate any tips or ideas. Otherwise I'll have to send it back.

I'm having the same problem with both the Logitech Brio and my inbuilt webcam on a brand new iMac with the 1080 webcam and my iMac is top of the line with max everything. The video fades in and out slightly because of automatic exposure controls. How do I stop that?

Yep. The Brio looks great on paper, but I have two sitting on the shelf since I completely gave up on getting them to work, or even look as good as my c920. Disappointing.

I'm having the same issue with the Logitech StreamCam. Did you ever find a solution to this? Turning off auto-exposure in OBS helps me but now my issue is I can't get exposure exactly where I want it because the exposure settings in OBS aren't precise enough.
