Lock source feature

Depending on the overlay, I might have one that 'covers' an entire scene, even if it's only occupying some space here and there while everything else is transparent.

I think it'd be super handy to be able to 'lock' a source, much like locking a layer in Photoshop, which would allow the user to click through said source when editing other things in the scene.

Figured I'd mention it since some googling doesn't seem to have brought up other suggestions of this sort.

You can add the same source to multiple scenes and put it on top of the list and set opacity. sources can be layered and also resized...

You can set the opacity of webcams, windows, text, graphics, exc. pretty much everything but game capture.

I'm afraid that doesn't really sound relevant to what I'm talking about.

I'll try to clarify what I'm talking about with this recording of OBS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJR0v0nmL4s

I have an overlay, named "TreatStream Alert", which I want to show up over everything else whenever it is triggered. However, in its current position, I have no desire to ever move it from there. I would, however, like to move the "Text" source, but I can't simply click on it because the "TreatStream Alert" is blocking it. In a busier scene with a bunch of sources, I find myself scrolling through the tiny list of sources to find the item I want to move, and it's kind of a bother.

If I could just lock the "TreatStream Alert" source, and then upon clicking the scene in Edit mode, it'd select the top-most unlocked source under my cursor, that'd make my life a whole lot easier.

It's not that my scenes are completely visually blocked, I have no problems there. It's that it's a bother to edit scenes with multiple sources because of overlays.

have you tried unchecking the other sources, moving them rechecking them? I can see what you mean as in issues, and this doesn't help you in a live environment
