I use the following settings for Stream:
Service: Custom...
Server: rtmp://127.0.0.1:1935/stream
Stream Key: test
If I start streaming, OBS will show it connecting and streaming. When I try to load it in VLC 3.0.12 using Open Network Stream with rtmp://127.0.0.1:1935/stream/test as the network URL it just keeps loading and never plays.
If I use the following settings with the Multiple output plugin:
RTMP Server: rtmp://127.0.0.1:1935/stream
RTMP Key: test
and start that, I can then view the stream in VLC with the same network URL.
I'm using NGINX 1.7.12.1
