Hello, I upload youtube video and have been having trouble recently with obs. I love to record in 1080p 60fps and for playing minecraft my fps is fine and my obs studio fps will drop to like 20-40 a lot now. this is my computer specs, anyone have any recommendations? P.S. I run like 150 fps in minecraft while this happens.

Are you running Minecraft in full screen mode or as a window? In the past I found full screen mode would run at 30ish fps while windowed mode would run at 300+ fps while OBS was running.

Really need a log file to see more detail in regards to settings of OBS, etc.

Can you do a few minutes' worth of recording (Doing what you would normally do in-game) then stop the recording session, then upload a current logfile please so I or someone else can further assist in troubleshooting:

Limiting your frame rate in-game will help a lot in getting the best quality out of your hardware in regards to recording/streaming. I recommend using MSI AfterBurner or EVGA Precision to cap your fps to your monitor refresh rate, or 1-3 frames higher than your monitor refresh rate will generally resolve the issue of screen tearing. Try to avoid V-Sync as it can induce input lag.

You have 13.6% lagged frames due to rendering lag, which indicates your GPU isn't keeping up, and then I see you're using a GT 640. You need a GTX card for OBS, not GT. The GTs are stripped down models and OBS uses some of the advanced features that are only actually fast in the GTX type of Nvidia cards but are too slow in the GT type.

Also you're saving as a .MP4, which means if OBS ever crashes, your file will be corrupted. Use one of the other options.

Still not really answering my question. What can i do right now as settings wise so i don't kill my channel from not uploading???

Bad advice on both parts. Do neither of what he suggests. The default preset hits the GPU harder than the HP preset, and changing the profile to main instead of high makes your encoding less efficient, which will have a (albeit minor) negative effect.

You need to decrease the load on your GPU. So record at a lower FPS (30 instead of 60), try CQB mode instead of CBR mode, and/or use a downscale and record at something less than 1920x1080.
