Question / Help Local Recording Settings

Hello guys !

Can you help me out with giving me some advices for good local record settings.

I am trying to record minecraft and i want it to not be laggy,sometimes it says that the encoding is high and the video has some lag spikes

Here are my pc specs :

►Pc Specs:

• Hard disk Western Digital 1TB SATA-III 7200 rpm 64MB Caviar Blue

• Intel Core Haswell i5 4430 3GHz box

• Gainward GeForce GTX 770 2GB GDDR5 256-bit

• Gigabyte GA-P85-D3

• Zeppelin 8GB DDR3 1333MHz CL9 Dual Channel Kit

• SSD Intel 120GB SATA-III 530 Series

I would really appreciate if someone could tell me how much bitrate i should putand also what should i select on the advanced settings.

PS:I would like to record in 60 frames,i think my pc can handle it,even though i am not sure if youtube supports 60 frames livestreams,if not,then 30 frames

Thank you !

post a log too see what you set by now and 1080p60 even as a recording might be hard with an i5 720p60 shouldnt be a problem.

if you would be using qsv you had no problem at all but thats another story.

lets try 1080p60 settings

obviously resolution 1920x1080
fps 60

bitrate 25000
buffer 25000
cbr=unchecked
cfr=checked
preset ultrafast
custom x264 command: crf=20

thats pretty much it if your cpu cant handle it then go ahead and either use 1080p30 or 720p60

Okay,thank you.

I will try it out and let you know the results.

EDIT:It works perfectly,constantly 60 fps,no dropped frames.

Thank you very much !
