local recording playback lag

whenever my encoder is on x264 my in game fps and gameplay is smooth but my local recording playback is super laggy.
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
GPU: Radeon (TM) RX 480 Graphics

any recommended settings? thanks

Hey Sapiens,

I'm not sure what you mean, I was just about to post this question too. So my encoder is currently set to NVENC
settings:
enable cdr padding-checked
custom buffer size-checked
buffer size kbit-3500
max bitrate kb/s: 3000
quality balance-8
use cbr-checked.


I am a newbie here both with the software and posting on this forum. Any help would be appreciated senpai! thanks
