Question / Help Local Recording Lengths

Recently I've noticed that there has been some improvements to the way files get saved based on naming convention. I'm wondering if there will be any improvements to the size of the files it saves. When I do extended casts, I end up with a ridiculous file size for a few hours of streaming. Usually on most cameras I notice that it'll split files once they get to 4GB. Maybe something like this could be implemented? It's basically just waiting for the file to complete takes longer than the session of streaming took.

Any help with this would be much greatly appreciated.

Switch to FLV output. The process of MP4 remuxing takes so long for you probably.

You can split or remux to MP4 or other formats afterwards if you like or your video editor does not support FLV.

I have a similar issue. 15 mins of recording turned out a 1.67gb. I have it set to a FLV output and my bitrate is 128. I want to keep the quality as high as possible, but keep the file size down too. Thanks!

Any Suggestions?
