Question / Help Local recording lag in video despite no frame drops etc.

Hello, I've been using obs for a while now and I love it.
The problem i'm having now (which I never had before) is that when I try to make a local recording. The video after I finish recording is somewhat laggy/choppy. When i'm recording there is no frame drop or super fluctuating bitrate. I have continued to use the same settings as before when there was no lag. I am pretty sure my computer is able to handle this process. If any more information is needed just ask :3

Try a different video player such as VLC.

I've tried VLC, and MPC-HC, and they both have the video slowing down/lagging a certain parts of the video.
I might be exaggerating a little about the lag, so here is a example video: http://youtu.be/tmMBy4djD5k
Would my game's framerate be causing this? As my game's framerate changes between a 20ish range.
