I'm trying to record Overwatch to my external hard drive - no streaming. CrystalDiskMark shows the disk can do sustained reads and writes of ~180 MB / sec so I don't think the HD is the issue. My CPU is a core i5 3570K, which I do realize is older, but I dunno if that's a problem since OBS rarely goes above 15% CPU usage while recording. I'm using NVENC to take pressure off my CPU, and my graphics card is a GTX970. I'm recording at 720p 60 fps but I'm dropping about as many frames now as I was when I was trying to record at 1080p 60 fps.
Can anyone look at my log and give me any idea as to what I can do to avoid dropping frames? Thank you so much!
