Question / Help Local recording cropped!

Hello, I have read the guide for quality local recording videos, and i love the quality i get but, the problem is that every video gets "cropped". while i play i dont have freeze or anithing but the output video, has "pauses" and loss of recorded time. Please help me, if my CPU is not strong enough i may buy a new one.

Do you mean "pauses"? Cropping means something else entirely, and I'm seeing pauses.

The pauses are not due to insufficient CPU, your CPU is fine. The pauses are due to the fact that you're encoding 1080p with the "fast" x264 cpu preset. 1080p alone is enough to stress most machines, but 1080p with the "fast" preset will definitely cause this to occur, because there are almost no computers that could keep up with that.

Set the preset back to "veryfast". If you still have this problem, then I might also recommend using some downscale.

Also bump your FPS back down to 30, if you're going to record in 1080p. That will give you a bit more performance as well.
