Question / Help LKV373a HDMI Extender Multiple Stream Sources?

Hello,

I did a search for the HDMI Extender model LKV373a in the forums and only found one hit where the OP (and responders) had trouble using the stream from the LKV373a .

The rumor is (and I've seen video demonstration) that this device outputs a UDP MultiCast stream picked up on RTP.

Has anyone been able to successfully create a video source from the LKV373a ?

Even more challenging, has anyone been able to use MULTIPLE LKV373a devices on the same network all inbound to a single server to create multiple video sources from each stream?

I succeded in connecting sender to receiver and at the same time feed vlc throug udp://@239.255.42.42:5004 an then to obs on a "game Capture" of the vlc program. the reason for doing like this is to send from camera to emmiter then to a router and one signal goes to the receiver and into the video mixer (roland v1hd) LIVE SIGNAL and the other signal SLOWMO goes to a laptop with vlc and obs for doing the slow motion of that camera. then the hdmi signal out of the computer goes again into the video mixer, is completed and transmited via stream with another laptop with a hdmi capture card and obs.
i am interested in another emiter for the same laptop and with 2 live signal fron the cameras into just one pc with 2 NICs
i am waiting too for someone to get 2 of lkv373a working in the same pc
i know you can factory resets those, so you can change ip adress and so many other things, but never heard someone who did this to the receiver. i dont want to loose the emiter, receiver compatibility

You need two networks, because sender send broadcast signal on same port (only one device in network can send on port 5004).
Is many solution, like buy adapter usb - ethernet x2 or buy card pci-e with 2 or more ports.

I did succed with a test-setup where I had two LKV373A tx units connected on a separate network, using a PC with two network interfaces
I was able to switch which ports they did transmit to and also possible switching from multicast to unicast.

I know I did write down the test setup, but as of know I am unable to find the setup steps. Below is a scematic of the setup.
Using a separate network for the LKV373A limits the hassels for all others on the local network.
