Hi Everyone
I'm new to this forum but have been using OBS for a little while but am having this ongoing issue which I'm hoping someone might know how to resolve.
I use OBS to live stream events at work and prior to the events I always do a test stream to ensure it's all working. But the issue I have is when I go to do my real Live stream for the event, the video feed always shows a freeze frame from the previous test stream I did prior. The audio works correctly and is live but the frozen image from the previous stream will stay on the screen until I double click on the "Video Capture Device" in the Sources window and change the device to anything else and then back to the correct camera selection. It's at this stage that it resets and shows the correct video from the selected video capture device and generally won't do it again for the rest of the stream.
Needless to say this makes the production look very unprofessional and I have no idea how to fix this.
Setup information: I use a Canon 1DXii camera with the canon webcam software and a Sony A7Sii through and Elgato HD60S+ for my 2 camera set up. The frozen image normally happens on the Sony + Elgato camera but at yesterdays even it also happened on the Canon main camera.
If anyone knows what I can do to remedy this issue I would be forever grateful.
Thanks for your help everyone
Marty
