We've been using a Roland Video Mixer out to our AVIO converter, into the Dell G7 laptop for many months trouble free... Great audio and video... OBS thus far has served us well with our live streaming. Two weeks back, Facebook crashed our feed in the middle of the broadcast....SO, last week we started "recording" the feed simultaneously with the stream.... Worked great, no problems. This week, we did the SAME, no setting changes.....The live feed VIDEO ONLY froze at the 17 minute mark, and never came back....the audio was perfect for the entire stream, with the "freeze point" remaining as a "screen shot" for the duration of the live feed.
I'm getting some confusing and contradictory "solutions" from online gurus. I'm hoping that someone here has had the same glitch, and may have a real solution and/or direction to take us so that we don't repeat this problem in the future. Very discouraging. Once our stream starts, we have to rely on the system running correctly for the duration with NO hands on oversight...... If you have any help, it's greatly appreciated. What can we do? (Windows 10, G7 Gaming Laptop used ONLY for live feed, upload speed in excess of 100, UBS3 in).
