Live stream automatically stops after one hour (both 32-bit and 64-bit tested)

Dear OBS Studio Support Team,

I hope you are doing well.

I am experiencing an issue with OBS Studio on my Windows 10 Pro laptop.
Every time I stream live (especially to the Kick platform), my stream automatically stops after approximately 1 hour and 1 minute (about 53 seconds).

I have already tried several fixes:

  • Tested both the 64-bit and 32-bit versions of OBS Studio.
  • I currently use the 32-bit version, because it works better on my system and uses less RAM than the 64-bit version.
  • Checked my RTMP server configuration (rtmps://
  • Adjusted bitrate, resolution, and FPS settings.
  • Added the line StreamTimeout=0 to the basic.ini file.
However, the issue still happens: OBS automatically ends the stream after about one hour.

I would like to know if OBS Studio has a built-in streaming time limit for RTMP connections or if there is another configuration I can modify to prevent this automatic disconnection. I would like your help with this problem, please.

OBS currently don't have a 32bit version, only 64 bit.
Such an old version (for the 32 bit) have no support.

Check, just in case, that you didn't activated a timer which can produce this behavior. Look inside Tools menu.

CUALQUIERA Vale, voy a descargar de nuevo la versión de 64 bits de OBS Studio y ver qué pasa. Creo recordar que hice clic en algo. ¿Hay algo más que quieras comentarme al respecto, por favor?
