Question / Help live gamer portable problems?

I was looking at different tutorial vids and through the forums on how to get my Avermedia Live Gamer Portable to work with OBS. I always have the option for Avermedia C875 Capture but not the real capture card. When i select it i get a red screen. I have looked through the forums and at different tutorial vids and nothing has worked so far. Can someone tell me how i can fix this?

Install the Stream Engine software from AVerMedia and add that as a video capture device source in the 32-bit version of OBS.
