Hello.
I am streaming at twitch with an asus I7 laptop and avermedia live gamer portable.
I have no problem streaming ps3 games (connected via HDMI) with OBS. I set LGP stream engine as video and audio source, in the 32 bit version of OBS and it runs fine.
The problem is when I want to stream Playstation 2 games. I tried to connect it with the component cable that comes with LPG, but didn't succeded. Then I got a devide that converts component signal to HDMI. It shows in my TV with the LGP HDMI output port, but...
a) If I try to capture in OBS with the videosource LGP Stream engine, a black screen will show up.
b) If I try to capture in OBS with the C875 capture device, a red screen will show up.
Capturing from a ps2 is possible because Xsplit does it without asking me anything. I checked out its video source option and saw it does it via the c875 capture, and not the stream engine. Avermedia native program Recentral also captures it fine. Streaming Ps2 shouldn't be a problem but I'd like to do it from OBS, and not from the other platforms.
After analizing the OBS log, it redirected me to the multiple video cards issue. I did it so OBS will work stricly with nvidia but the problem continues.
The c875 capture device informs that resolution is 720x288 50FPS interlaced, but avermedia recentral and xsplit will convert it automaticly to 720x576i. I have tried every possible custom resolution in the video input properties of OBS, so I don't think that's the problem. Still is funny, as attached picture shows, that signal shows out of range if running the C875 config from OBS, but will show stable if accessing it from Recentral or xsplit.
Here are the pin and OBS logs:
