Question / Help Live Gamer HD won't record. Please Help!

Hey OBS peeps, I'm new to the forums! Thank you for everything you do, I use OBS and am starting to pick up steam as a twitch streamer, couldn't have done it without OBS. Thanks to all you do for the community.

Anyway, I'm having a really tough time with this Avermedia Live Gamer HD card I purchased... and returned.. and replaced. I've set everything up with the "Pass Through" method...

HDMI cable from XFX 6870 --> Live Gamer HD
HDMI cable from Live Gamer HD --> 1920 x 1080 60hz Monitor

The card is recognized in the PCI-Express slot, the drivers were installed and I upgraded to the latest firmware v22. But when I launch RECentral to set it up, I get this...

Then, when I press ready and record, I get the flashing red icon in my task bar but no file is being created. Nothing is recording, I also have to restart the program to get it to stop.

Please help me out here! ><

Its probably HDCP protected. Why are you asking this in the OBS forum?

Nah, Recentral would notify of HDCP being active (I've had that happen). But indeed, if you're trying to record with RECentral and not using the Stream Engine to output data to OBS this probably isn't the right forum.

Yes, it's the same thing with the Stream Engine, I want to output this to OBS but first I should be able to record. It's not HDCP, its just connected to my main monitor. Any ideas? or should I go elsewhere.
