Hi all recently I have this problem, I used to be able to record my PS3 using this program in 1080p but recently I tried to record and all it shows is a black screen with the game sound. When I set to 720p resolution in the "video capture device" settings, it works but I don't want to record my games in 720p and I think is not my capture card problem but the program itself since I tried to record using Avermedia's RECentral in 1080p and it works. Hope someone can help me thank you ^.^

Did you check your console's settings to make sure it's actually running at 1080p? The Live Gamer HD will downscale but not upscale, so if you're trying to run the card at 1080p but it's only receiving a 720p signal it won't work. Resolution changes can also be problematic, so be sure the console is set to allow only a single output res. Or just keep running everything at 720p since those consoles upscaled almost all of their content anyway. :)
